Valerie June Delivers Gifts, Presents and Treats for the Holidays
Celebrated Memphis-based singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Valerie June has confirmed the November 15 release of a new holiday offering: Gifts, Presents and Treats via Concord Records. The digital-only release features three all-time classics performed in June’s unique style including “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” and “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.” This will be June’s first release since 2022’s Under Cover.
June is backed on the release by Jason DiMatteo (bass), Dan Lead (guitar), Dave Sherman (keys) and Greg Wieczorek (drums).
“I really do have the sweetest fans ever,” comments June. “I was thinking of what kind of surprise holiday gifts, presents, and treats I could give them. Then me and the band decided the best surprise treat would be a few of our favorite songs! Happy Holidays to All!”
