Of the collaboration, Spacey Jane says, “ We’re huge fans of Grace (aka Mallrat) and have been lucky enough to become good friends over the last few years. She’s an amazing fit for the song and as soon as we heard her verse we were hooked. It’s always cool to see a song given a new life and it’s even better when it’s the homie.”

Mallrat furthers, “ The first time I hung out with Spacey Jane we crossed a street and I noticed a praying mantis on the road. I pointed it out to Peppa but the lights were changing and cars were about to run it over. Pep ran onto the road at the last possible second and scooped the praying mantis to safety. That’s when I knew that we were going to be friends. I love this Spacey album. It was so fun playing with the production and writing a new verse on this gorgeous song to ratify it.”

The original version of the track appears on the band’s third studio album, If That Makes Sense, which is out now via Concord. Produced by Mike Crossey (The 1975, Arctic Monkeys, Wolf Alice), the new music continues to receive widespread critical praise;

“[This is] the kind of indie rock offering that makes you remember why you’d even fall in love in the first place, spelling out truths and vulnerable revelations over driving guitar parts and buoyant drums."
